She was predeceased by : her parents, James Howard and Edith Steelman Dobbins; her daughter Meme Mckensie Brown; her father-in-law Jackie Brown; and her close friend Teresa Taylor.

She is survived by : her husband David Brown; her son Tyler Brown (Erika); her grandchildren, Grayson Dobbins Brown and Piper Brooke Brown; her sister Mariena Shore; her brother-in-law Dean Davis (Amy); her niece Jennifer Hiatt (Brandon); her nephews, James Shore (Leigh Anne) and Joseph Shore (Sarah); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Colin, McKennon, Macon, Marleigh, Ernie, Nita Kate and Edie; and her close friend Cobie.
