He was predeceased by : his parents, Miles Sheliah and Flora Elsie Royall; and his siblings, Edith, Olean, Edna, Hubert, Charles, Clifford and Bobby.

He is survived by : his children, Flora Jane "Janie" Royall, Rita Presley and William Asbury "Dude" Royall, Jr.; his brother Danny Royall (Judy); his grandchildren, Shayna Reavis, Joanie and John; and also, Shug, Nancy Walls, Susan Pettit and Cathy Sparks. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.
