He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Nodine and Grace Nodine; and his siblings, Tommy Wayne Nodine and Patricia Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Janet Nodine; his children, Cassandra Smith (Danny) of Bostic, Jennifer Dobbins of Forest City and Billy Nodine Jr. (Russhelle) of Ellenboro; his siblings, Ella Mae Suttles of Golden Valley, Libby Dunaway of Spindale, Debbie Toms (Danny) of Rutherfordton, Robert Nodine Jr. (Judy) of Rutherfordton and Jimmy Nodine of Rutherfordton; and his grandchildren, Jesse Dobbins, Kasey Smith, Anneliese Nodine and Amelia Nodine.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church (801 Mt Lebanon Church Rd, Bostic, NC 28018). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
