She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Murray and Maggie Green Murray; her daughter Rose Lee Murray Vickers; her great grandchildren, Travis Scott Vickers and Kristi Lynn Vickers; and her siblings, Viola Street, Lottie Baynard, Florence Hoyle, Cleo Splawn, Alvro Murray, Horace Murray, Junior Murray, Willard Murray, Monroe Murray and Robert Murray.

She is survived by: her sister Zaciena Murray of Shelby; her son-in-law Joseph "Joe" Vickers, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Michele Arwood (Travis), Tim Vickers and Dale Vickers (Kelly). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
