Diane Hoppes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Hoppes of Bostic, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter and Ora Biggerstaff Porter; her husband Robert Avery Hoppes; and her siblings, James, Richard Porter and Brenda Porter Newton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lora Hoppes McFarland Murray (Philip), Lynn Hoppes Murray, Melinda Hoppes Bishop (Bo) and Crystal Hoppes Hamby (Travis); her sisters, Shirley Hoppes and Sandra Howard; her grandchildren, Leslie Carpenter (Leon), Lauren Boyd (Aaron), Katie McFarland, Emily Yount Austin (Tyler) and Braydin Hamby; and her great grandchildren, Felicity Carpenter, Cooper Boyd, Salem Boyd, Kennedy Yount and Baby Cole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
