Murray, Gladys Murray Dobbins and Nellie Murray Moore; and her siblings-in-law, Nettie Freeman Murray, Dorothy Moore Murray and Carl Dobbins.
She is survived by: her son Mitchell D. Melton (Catina Hancock Melton); her son-in-law Barney Cannon; her grandson James R. Cannon (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Cameron and Carson; her sister A. Frances Benson; and her sister-in-law Peggy Owens Murray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and her beloved fur baby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of NC Foothills Chapter, P.O. Box 797, Boiling Springs, N.C. 28017; or Sunshine Methodist Church, 367 Depriest Rd, Bostic, NC, 28018 where she will be entombed with her first husband, Dwight T. Melton.
