He is survived by: his wife Margie Marie; his children, Franklin Raye Shell, Joseph Edward Shell, John Albert, Gregory Allen Shell, Chasity Nicole Matheny (Brent), Brittany Nicole Shell, Rebecca Lynn Williams (Jerimie), Miranda Marie Robinson (TJ), Buddy William Shell and Bryson Clay Shell; his granddaughter Mackenzie Jaylynne Henderson; his niece Jessica Lynn Shell; his grandchildren, Mariah, Bobby, Sydney, Destiny, Kenzie, Serenity, Johnny, Wesley, Evelyn, Savannah, Colt, Selena, Eli, Tony, Riley, Clayton, Madison, Emma, Tobias, Tucker, Jesse and Dustin; his great grandchildren, Miles and Rebecca; his sisters, Diane Lynn Smith and Crystal Dawn Lashinski; his mothers-in-law, Crystal Dawn Lashinski and Diane Lynn Smith; and his sister-in-law Chrissy Stallings.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church (5840 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 441 Sandy Run Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
