He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitzhugh Lee Calton and Hattie Koone Calton; and his siblings, F. L. Calton, Martha C. Lockey, Dorthy C. Melton and Faye C. Brackett.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Heafner Calton; his children, Wendy C. Hodge (George) of Sunshine, Jon Calton (Glenda) of Sunshine and Paula C. Davis (Tim) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Tripp Hodge (Blair), Emilee Lindsay (Caleb), Cameron Hodge (Karsyn), Nathan Calton, Lea Calton, Mackenna Davis and Huntley Davis; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hodge and Elliott Hodge.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home (359 E Church St, Bostic, NC 28018). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Fellowship Church (160 Toney Rd, Bostic, NC 28018).
