We announce the death of Jerry Ruppe of Bostic, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ruppe and Pearl Melton Ruppe; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Jolley. He is survived by: his wife Freida Ruppe; his children, Darlene Gilbert, Lisa Ruppe, Donna McNeily and Scott Ruppe; and his sister Myrle Mills. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Golden Valley (1051 Briar Creek Rd, Casar, NC 28020). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
