He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee A. Pope and Ruth Waters Pope. He is survived by: his sister Caroline Pope of Bostic; his nephews, Drake Johnson (Jessica) of Bostic and Bryce Johnson of Bostic; his great-niece Brooklyn Johnson; and his great-nephew Nash Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Sandy Level Baptist Church (1047 Sandy Level Church Rd, Bostic, NC 28018). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
