She is survived by: her husband Robert Joseph "Bob" West; her sons, Jonathan West of Asheville and Nathan West of Asheville; her grandson Elias West; and her siblings, Lloyd Melton (Nancy) of Bostic, Anita Jones of Rutherfordton and Laura Perkins (Joe) of Fort Pierce, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
