In the sacred silence of farewell, Rachel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rachel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd Phillips and Bernice Henley Hudson; her son John Thomas Beattie; and her granddaughter Kristin Brianna Beattie. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Cobb (Brenda) of Forest City and Neil Wade Packard of Cliffside; and her daughter-in-law Patricia "Patsy" Beattie of Bonaire, Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
