He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Lovelace, Sr. and Pauline King Lovelace; and his wife Susan Delores Lee Lovelace. He is survived by: his son Rev. Creighton Lovelace (Stacy) of Forest City; his brothers, J. C. Lovelace, Jr. (Joyce) of Bostic, Dennis Lovelace (Susan) of Bostic and Johnny Lovelace (Sharon) of Bostic; and his stepgrandsons, Daniel Stewart, Andy Collins, Alexander Collins and Christopher Collins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Danieltown Baptist Church (655 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
