He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brodie and Frances Brodie; his brother Mark David Brodie; and his nephew David Aaron Brodie. He is survived by: his wife Debra Siegmund Brodie; his children, Mark, Ashley, Matthew and Robert Brodie; his daughter-in-law Crystal; his grandchildren, Aria Ellis, Lily Brodie and Malcolm Brodie; and his siblings, Sharon, Karen, Michelle, Marie Brodie, Michael, Steve, Chris and John Brodie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in memory of Paul Blair Brodie to the Type I diabetes leading research foundation: Type 1 Diabetes - Breakthrough T1D.
