It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alma McCracken (Brevard, North Carolina), who passed away, on October 24, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Heath and Charles Heath of Brevard, NC.. She is survived by: her husband James R. McCracken; her children, David Strickland, Shirley Strickland, Wilma Strickland and Frank Jackson; her stepdaughter Alice Fanning; her close friends, Bunny' and Brownie; and her siblings, Edward, Charles (Junior), Frances Bracken and Dorothy Passmore. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as her extended family and community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made to Carr's Hill Baptist Church.
