She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard Sheehan and Hattie Watson Sheehan; her husband Robert Whitlock; and her siblings, Pearl Whitmire, Hester Queen, Dwight Sheehan, Ed Sheehan, Roger Sheehan and Gregg Sheehan.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Goede (Eric) of Pisgah Forest, NC and Dale Whitlock (Vessie) of Ocala, FL; her siblings, Dan Sheehan (Carol) of Seneca, SC, Edna Bryson of Glenville, NC and Chet Sheehan of Brevard, NC; and her grandchildren, Heather Goede of Pisgah Forest, NC, Andrew Goede of Pisgah Forest, NC, Nic Goede (Ash) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Haley Stallings of Franklin, NC and Katie Whitlock (Tony) of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews; and 36 great nieces and nephews.
