As Bruce departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bruce. Though Bruce may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Burney and Bill Burney of Fernandina, FL; his brother Dallas Burney of Jacksonville; and his sister-in-law Amy Snowden-Mather of Atlanta. He is survived by: his wife Beth Burney of Brevard, NC; his sons, Will (Brevard) and Sam (Atlanta); his brother Hank Burney (Nancy) of Atlanta; and his brothers-in-law, Gray Snowden (Ruth) of Richmond and Jeff Mather of Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 1015 E Rock Springs Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
