With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Cordill Burke (Brevard, North Carolina), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carole Cordill Burke to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oliver P. Cordill and Gladys Babcock Cordill; and her former life partner Edward J. Burke. She is survived by : her son-in-law Benjamin Osborne Grier of Hendersonville, NC; her grandsons, Harrison Arthur Grier (Hank) of Chicago, IL and Andrew Oliver Grier (Drew) of Chapel Hill, NC.; her stepsons, Ken Burke and Steve Burke; her husband Larry Long of Omaha, NE; and her daughter Allison Elizabeth Long (Grier).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Uutc (24 Varsity St, Brevard, NC 28712).
