Colin Pelton Obituary

We announce the death of Colin Pelton of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 65. Colin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Colin will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Colin will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Colin’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Munro Pelton and Paul Leroy Pelton. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Pelton of Philadelphia, PA and Olivia Daniel of Charleston, SC; and his siblings, Anthony (Sheila), Andrew Pelton (Lynn), Sharon Prater (Till) and Karen Dupont (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
