We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Elizabeth Flynn of Brevard, North Carolina, born in Highlands, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Van Flynn; her parents, Morris Jenkins and Mattie Jenkins; and her brother Roy Lee McCord. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Flynn of Bonaire, GA and Eric Flynn of Athens, GA; her grandchildren, Cole Austin of Lehi, UT and Olivia Austin of Boynton Beach, FL; and her sisters, Helen Stamey of Brevard, NC and Marie Israel of Canton, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
