She was predeceased by : her mothers, Loon Whitmire and Edith Bell Whitmire; her husband William Volrath (Bill); and her siblings, Roy C. Whitmire, James Paul Whitmire, Charles Whitmire, Russell Whitmire and Mary Greene.
She is survived by : her sisters, Roberta Stewart of Pickens and Bonnie W. Leopard of Brevard; and her children, Linda Morris (Larry) of Brownsville, Danny Volrath of Brevard, Billy Volrath (Jackie) of Brevard, Deborah Newman of Brevard and Sandra Wright-Haskell of Brevard. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and four great-great-great grandchildren.
