He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Harris and Maggie Harris; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Harris. He is survived by: his wife Lorene; his children, Craig Harris (Monika), Curtis Harris (Nicolle) and Shannon Miller; his grandchildren, Trenton, Amaya, Dylan and Sammy; and his siblings, Larry Jr., Harold, Laura, Marsha Fay and Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712).
