She was predeceased by: her parents, Laxton Lynch Jones and Julia McGuinn Jones. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy McKinney; her son Brian McKinney; her daughter-in-law Michelle McKinney; her granddaughter Samantha McKinney; her sisters, Tressie Steppe of Sunny View, NC, Margaret Jackson of Marion, NC and Phyllis Jackson of Hendersonville, NC; and her aunt Mollie-Jo Robinson of Columbus, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Pisgah Forest Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
