She is survived by: her husband James Byrd; her daughter Alison Vaughn; her grandchildren, Brandi Ashe, Blair Ashe and Mason Vaughn (Brittney); her great grandchild Gracelyn Jackson; and her sisters, Mary Evelyn Cogdill of Waynesville and Ruth Stevenson of Iron Duff. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
