He is survived by: his wife Kay Delk Owen; his children, April Owen Salter (Chris), Haley Gardin (Deandre), Thomas William Owen, Jennifer Melissa Baer and James Michael Grant III (Sarah); and his siblings, Ethel Owen and Philip Owen. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
