Marie Barton Cison Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Barton Cison of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harkless Barton and Ada Barton; her husband William "Bill" Cison; and her siblings, Helen Davis, Myrtle Owen, Kate Sanders, Dick, Frank, Arthur and Clyde Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Snowdon (Robert) of Brevard and Roger Cison of Brevard; her granddaughters, Lisa Metcalf (Carleton) and Laura Burgess (Marty); and her great grandchildren, Will Metcalf (Lily), Claire, Parker Metcalf, Walker and Jackson Burgess. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
