We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025, at the age of 76, Shirley Jessica Brown (Brevard, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bishop and Sadie Bishop of Avery's Creek; and her siblings, Ed, Helen, Sue, Ailene and Ruth.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Brown; her children, Jeanette DeVore (Mark), Clifford Brown (Barbara), Reverend Ben Brown (Crystal) and Charlie Brown (Tonya); her nephew Chuck King (Grace); and her siblings, Carl, Wilson, Virginia, Martha and Callie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews.
