He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Cebren Brown and Elma Brown; his wife Debbie McCall Brown; his children, Joshua Howard Brown (Kristin Ihme Brown), Jon Brown (Heather Raines Brown) and Tiffany Brown Corn; his grandchildren, Walker Hayes Brown, Harleigh Nicole Brown, Jace Howard Brown, Ansley Elise Brown, Dawson Holland Corn, Hudson Lee Corn and Kayleigh Jolynn Brown; and his siblings, Randy Brown (Cherie Brown), Rita Watson (Wayne Watson), Wanda McCall (Mike McCall), Gordon Brown and David Brown (Angel Brown). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 994 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
