She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pluhar and Alberta Pluhar of Tennessee. She is survived by: her significant other Lane Peabody; her children, Jacob, Suzanna Smart of Sparta, NC, Joseph and Gina Smart of Balsam Grove, NC; and her grandchildren, Alex of Brevard, NC, Dakota of Brevard, NC and Siarrah of Brevard, NC. She is also survived by her 8 great grandchildren.
