It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lavelle Benjamin of Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliot Benjamin and Esther Benjamin. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Benjamin and Latonya Austin (Charles); her grandchildren, Delante Benjamin, Nijiyah Cruell, T'siah McClellan, Desmond Cruell and Cinteana Benjamin; and her siblings, Cecilia Howell (late Samuel), Mary Benjamin Arrington (Ernest), Valarie Benjamin Carmichael (William), Joseph Benjamin (Leslie) and Leslie Benjamin. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
