He was predeceased by: his mother Verla Wiley; his brother Dave Wiley; his parents-in-law, Russ and Jean Boettner; and his brother-in-law Jim Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jean Wiley; his pet Carly; his sister-in-law Diane Wiley; his nephews, Mark and Chris; and also, Mark, Marlys, Jan (Sonny) and Sara (Brian).
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial (195 Blessed Way, Mills River, NC 28759).
