He is survived by: his sons, Al Upchurch (Brenda) of Broadway and Jason Upchurch of Lillington; his grandson Taylor Upchurch of Lillington; his great grandchildren, Mia Grey, Natalie Mae and Sofia Tay Upchurch; his brothers, Durward Upchurch (Faye) and Ray Upchurch; and his niece Angie Jordan.
