He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Christine Jones; his former wives, Gertrude H. Jones and Dorotha Hardy-Jones (Dot); his brother Coleman Jones; and his stepchildren, Martha Ann Robertson, Elaine Arnold and Richard Hardy (Lee).
He is survived by: his sons, David P. Jones (Cathy) and Daniel Franklin Jones (Danny); his wife Dot Hardy; his stepchildren, Bill Hardy and Nancy Hardy Wheeler (Randy); his niece Carolyn Haynie; his grandchildren, Robbin Bryant (Jerry), Neil Robertson (Angie), George Robertson (Jill), Ben Jones (Amanda), Shane Jones, Kacie Kennedy, AnnGayle Jones, Sara Hardy, Anna Hardy Minton, Scott Wheeler, Nathan Wheeler and Jet'aime Perreira-Hardy; and his great grandchildren, Laurin Bryant, Courtney Bryant, Jake Bryant, James Robertson, William Robertson, Landon Robertson and Zoe Minton.
