Gerda Thiedemann Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerda Thiedemann of Broadway, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wilking and Marth Engelke Wilking; her husband Harry Thiedemann; her sister Ellie Wolter; and her grandchildren, Taya Clifford and Jeremiah Lehner.
She is survived by: her children, Werner Thiedemann (Roxann) of Braham, MN, Detlev Thiedemann (Holly) of Sanford, NC, Karen Formica of Pompano Beach, FL and Rita Cortese (Ken); and her sisters, Irmi Stelljes of Middlesex, NJ and Ursula Fabricius of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
