He is survived by: his children, James Weathers Jr. (Cassandra) of Maryland and Leslie Weathers Petty of Sanford; his granddaughters, Dorian Davis of Sanford, NC, Jadelyn Petty of Sanford, NC, Janice Torres (José) of Louisiana and Myla Weathers of Maryland; his great grandchildren, Taylor Bowen of Sanford, NC, Robert Bowen of Sanford, NC and Elena Torres of Louisiana; and his sisters, Nina McNeill of Broadway, NC, Rosa Smith (Gary) of Broadway, NC, Carolyn Nails of Fayetteville, NC and Alfreda Weathers of Spring Lake, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
