He is survived by: his wife Betty Patterson; his daughter Elizabeth Long (Donald) of Broadway, NC; his grandchildren, Harrison, Hudson, Houston and Hollynn Long; his brothers, Johnny Patterson (Deloris) of Broadway, NC and Scott Patterson (Jane) of Sanford, NC; and his sister-in-law Linda Greene (Randall Woodard) of Mountain City, Tenn.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
