She was predeceased by: her husband Elzie Leon Perkins; her parents, Richard Till and Theresa Haid Till; her sister Resi Till Koch; and her daughter Felizitas Mecca.
She is survived by: her children, Beate Sitte (Emil) of Dorfen, Marhea Perkins Stearman of Bayboro, NC, Jason Schroeder of South Dakota, Sonny Perkins of Sanford, NC, Bobbie Perkins Elliott (Ricky) of Broadway, NC and Teresia Perkins of Fayetteville, NC; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Patterson Jr., David Allen Patterson, Keith Allen Patterson, Wolfgang Sitte, Sybille Sitte, Branden Allen Schroeder, Jorden Schroeder and Carolyn Schroeder. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
