With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Womack of Broadway, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Roger departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roger. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eural "Pete" Womack and Isabell Martin Womack; his sister Brenda Womack Schell; and his wife Dianne Wilkes Womack. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Womack of Sanford, NC and Kristin Womack of Broadway, NC..
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made in Roger's memory to the Lee County Animal Shelter, 1450 N. Horner Blvd. Sanford, NC 27330.
