He is survived by: his wife Kay McNeill Thomas; his sons, Ron Thomas (Jessica Lonas) of Lillington, NC and Wesley Thomas (Amber) of Zebulon, NC; his siblings, Susan Thomas (David) of Broadway, NC and Steve Thomas of Lillington, NC; his grandchildren, Noah Thomas (Taylor), Elijah Thomas, Mackenzie Thomas and Blake Thomas; and his sister-in-law Judy Thomas of Sanford, NC.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
