She is survived by: her husband James Albert Jones Jr.; her children, Matthew Curtis Jones (Melinda Fitzgerald) and Sarah Andrea Burgess (Michael Burgess); her grandchildren, Isaiah Griffin (Kaitlyn Blake Griffin), Hannah Griffin and Madeline Griffin (Sebastian Warren); her great grandchild Luna Sarah Griffin; and her pet Faith. She is also survived by step-grandchildren/ step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
