It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Truesdale Hodges of Browns Summit, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William M. Truesdale Jr.; her grandparents, Arnold W., Helen Smith and William M. Truesdale Sr.; and her great-grandparent Janie Hines Ball.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Hodges; her pet Willow Grace; her mother Susan Truesdale (Smith); her brother Jason Truesdale (Kelly); her nephews, Ethan, Eric and Eli; her grandmother Bettie Truesdale; and her caregiver Julisa Lea. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Amy's name to the River Oak Church Youth Ministry ROC kids or ROC Students.
