He was predeceased by: his daughter Candace Mounce. He is survived by: his parent Geraldine Mounce of Summerfield; his fiancée Sherry Scimenes; his children, Brandon Mounce (Tara Mounce) of Trinity, Katie Shropshire (Stephen Bateman) of Browns Summit and Bethany Mounce of Wellington Florida; his sister Sandra Beck (Randall) of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Kyleigh Shelton, Hannah Shelton, Carly Mounce, Hudson Bateman and Jackson Bateman.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Special Olympics of North Carolina at 2200 Gateway Centre Blvd, Suite 201 Morrisville, NC 27560.
