He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eli and Pearl Ozment Clymer; his wife Arleta; and his brothers, K. C. Clymer and David Clymer.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Clymer Jones "Steve" of Greensboro and Jason Clymer "Annie" of Browns Summit, NC; and his grandchildren, Anderson Jones and Lillian Jones. He is also survived by nieces and cousins.
