We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 70, Bishop Norris C. Corbett of Brunswick, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bishop Norris C. farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bishop Norris C. is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary A. Corbett; his children, Adrian Black (Melissa) of Belville, NC, Crystal Glenn (Marcus) of Charlotte, NC and Gabrielle Corbett (Carl) of Leland; and his sister Dedora Hansley (Elijah) of Wilmington, NC.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (4924 Blue Banks Road NE, Northwest, NC 28451). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (4924 Blue Banks Rd. NE, Northwest, NC 28451).
