He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Currie and Irene Collins Currie; his wife Joyce Currie; his children, Thomas Currie and Sharon Currie; and his brother Bobby Currie.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Alexis Currie (Meredith) of Albemarle, NC; and his sister Brenda Currie of Raeford, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery (150 John Russell Rd, Raeford, NC 28376).
