She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawson Emory and Hyacienth Mildred Huffstetler Shuler; and her siblings, Aleitha "Lib" Roseman, Moeina Welch, Wanda Lee Shuler, Peggy Shuler, Wayne Eustes Shuler, Talmadge Eugene Shuler and Thomas "Tommy" Shuler.
She is survived by : her brothers, Wade Ausby Shuler of Mt. Holly and Vaughn Shuler (Sheila) of Bryson City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
