He is survived by: his father James Ed Smith of Bryson City; his fiancée Sara Mull; his children, Courtney Haynes (Zac) of Sylva and Devin Smith of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Chase Haynes and Madison Haynes; his brother David Smith (Delores) of Bryson City; and his niece Crystal Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
