He is survived by: his sons, Randal Phillips (Zelda) of Burnsville, NC and Gary Phillips (Denise) of Hartselle, AL; and his sister Ruby Hodgins. He is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
