She was predeceased by : her parents, James Millsaps and Aglestia Green Millsaps; and her brothers, Joe, Ralph, Dillard and DJ Millsaps.

She is survived by : her siblings, Beatrice Hyde of Bryson City, Wanda Millsaps of Bryson City, Palestine Hyatt (Hershel) of Bryson City, Imogene Millsaps of Belmont, NC, Robert Millsaps of Bryson City and Eldon Millsaps (Buddy) of Kings Mountain; and her great-niece Sherissa Scott (Bracken).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
