With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd King Jr. (Bryson City, North Carolina), who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus V. King and Nancy Wikle King; his wife Virginia King; and his sister Marie King Pyler. He is survived by: his children, James King of Bryson City and Brenda King of Bryson City; his grandchildren, Joni Estep, Daniel Cloer, Adam King, Paul King, Robert Cole, Rhonda Cole and Ronnie Cole; and his siblings, Ollie Bridges of Asheville, NC and Clifford King (Sue) of Bryson City. He is also survived by 10 Great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
